Israeli tomato crop expected to be lower in 2005

The 2005 Israeli tomato crop has been estimated at 413,000 tonnes, down from 478,000 tonnes in 2004. Around 50 percent of the crop will be delivered to processing plants. About 5 percent of the total crop is organic.
