Monoprix to expand in Middle East
MD
Despite having 11 shops damaged during the events of last January, Monoprix Tunisia expects a turnover close to last year and has announced its arrival in Libya.
Monoprix registered a 5% drop in sales in 2011 compared to the previous year, but 2012 should be better in all respects, says its CEO.
The prospects are excellent: reopening of eight of the 11 stores that were damaged during the events of January this year, opening 12 new stores and starting the Libyan business. Monoprix plans to open three stores in Tripoli earlier this year as well as other outlets in Benghazi.
