26% increase in volumes for apricot exports

Most of the export volume goes to Russia, and the rest is shipped to Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Middle East (Emirates, Iraq, Iran) and Europe (Belgium, Romania).
According to the press office of the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture, the volume of apricot exports increased by 26% on June 15 compared to the volume exported last year at the same time.
This year Armenia exported 14,752 tonnes of apricots as of June 15, 26% more than last year. Which bodes for a very positive campaign. Other exports are even better. The country exported 67,294 tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables as of June 15, 2018. That is 90% more than the 33,819 tonnes exported on the same date last year.
In value terms, exports totaled $ 764.4 million in January-April 2018, a year-on-year increase of 25.7%.
