Rewe sells off drugstores

The German retailer Rewe has sold its 142-store Idea drugstore division.
The 142 stores, located mainly in the south and west of Germany had sales of EUR 130 million in 2004.
Rewe is selling off its non-core assets in order to focus on its food retailing business.
