In December , Russia remains the first importer of Turkish fruits.

According to statistics published by the Mediterranean Exporters Union, there was an increase of 19% (quantity) for fruit exports in December 2015 compared with December 2014, exports decreased by 22% for vegetables while citrus exports were just slightly lower (-2%) for the same period.
After the easy peelers, silt is the second product most exported in fresh, with 13% more than in December 2014, followed by orange, tomato (with, however - 15% compared to the same period in 2014) and pomegranate.
Russia, despite a decline in imports by 11 percent, remains the largest importer country in Turkey, with 41 percent of the total market of Turkish fruit and vegetables exported, followed by Iraq, which has also decreased its imports 33 percent and Ukraine. Far behind follow Saudi Arabia, which has, however, increased its imports by 77 percent (!), Romania and Germany. Note the increase in exports to Belarus, Poland, Austria, which have almost doubled and the spectacular exports to Israel (+ 1 639 percent).
