The pineapple sector invited to meet for global IPO Conference

IPO invites professionals for a World Conference that will make a point in the pineapple sector (supply, demand , transport, food security, sustainable production).

IPO is organizing a World Conference in San Jose ( Costa Rica ) .

During the meeting five main themes will be addressed:

- Supply, world production situation of major pineapple -producing regions , estimates and projectionson of crop and culturs.

- Request , markets performance study of pineapple on the world market and projections of the future ; with fruit importers and marketers interventions , fresh sector and industry sector.

- Transportation and Logistics: brokers , freight forwarders, port authorities will discuss the challenges facing the supply chain.

- Technologies and Food Safety : Updates and latest standards required for the sector.

- Sustainable production and social responsibility initiatives : presentation of sustainable projects to make the sector competitive while improving resource management, study and certification initiatives to improve the quality of life for the communities where pineapples are produced.
