The bananas season begins in south- east Turkey

The banana is an alternative culture in the region of Hatay , which generally produces citrus , mainly oranges, tangerines and grapefruit.

It is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture as made ??greenhouse , it requires a relatively high base investment.

However, as we have seen in parts of Mersin and Antalya , it can be profitable. Producers in Antalya even sell organic bananas , meeting the favor of German consumer.

All production techniques, greening and storage comply with good manufacturing practices for a quality product that can find its place in the domestic or export markets.
