F900, the mobile ethylene analyzer

American society Felix Instruments has launched a new product : F900, the mobile ethylene analyzer.

This is the first truly mobile solution for monitoring and testing of ethylene emissions. The F-900 weighs 2.43 kg, using an electrochemical sensor, provides measurements up to 10 ppb (parts per billion).

Used in the fruit sector, for stored products, ripening rooms, facilities in a controlled atmosphere. Optionally, CO2 sensor to measure carbon flows and O2 sensor. According to the manufacturer, the F-900 Mobile Ethylene Analyser allows accurate analysis for much less cost than the instruments available today.

F -900 is manufactured by Felix Instruments, a company based in Washington State, a subsidiary of CID Bio-Science Inc., which provides tools and instruments for scientific research on plants since 1989.
