First day at Fruit Logistica - Berlin

Fruit Logistica, the German show for fruit and vegetables, opened its doors yesterday - Thursday - to European professionals. Attendance was OK for the first day ; 6 halls of Messe Berlin have been booked for what is the biggest show in Europe targeted fruit & vegetables. Big delegations come to exhibit from Italy - with the visit of the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, also from Spain and France. Around 800 exhibitors are participating in this 2003 issue. Fructidor International booth is traditionally recognised as the "International Meeting Point" and is the place where to receive specific answers about any market, product or company. All Fructidor's country managers are present during these 3 days : 8 persons to answer to any question from the professionals.
