The season is not over yet in Brazil and exports of mangoes have just recorded an increase in volume for the 3rd consecutive month.
According to data from Secex (Secretaria de Comércio Exterior), Brazilian mango exports increased for the third consecutive month. The volume exported in October was 47% higher than in September.
Cumulatively, from January to October, exported volumes reached 160,700 tons for an estimated amount of $164.9 million. The European Union and the United States are the main destinations of Brazilian mangoes.
Some parts of the country have finished harvesting, other regions like São Paulo have just started. This will further increase the available volumes.
