Apofruit plans to develop new markets
Export growth in 2013 for Apofruit which plans to develop them.
In its latest published bulletin Apofruit announced to have closed the year 2013 on stable sales concerning the domestic market and a growth of +2.7% for exports. Apofruit plans for 2014 to consolidate its presence on the domestic market (retail chains, network sales Ho.Re.Ca.) and continue to expand its sales outside.
Exports in 2013 recorded an increase of +46%. Target markets were the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The main exported product was the kiwi which represented about 60% of exports, followed by grapes, apples and plums. Apofruit will continue to deploy these new markets and expand its sales in North Africa (Egypt, Libya, Tunisia), Central Europe and East, South America.
Its brand Solarelli, high quality products, increased its sales in 2013 by +5% in volume, its sales totaled 12.5 million euros. The goal for 2014 is to reach 15 million euros.
