Heavy rains threaten the Georgian onion production

Heavy rains in March and April are threatening the production of Georgia's sweet Vidalia onions. Fields are too wet to receive specific treatments against bacteria ; in consequence, there's a real risk that plants are affected. "Vidalia" onions represent 10% of the US offer in onions.
