Peru to strengthen organic sector with the help of the EU

The EU grant will support organic production in Peru and will increase exports to Europe.
Peru will strengthen its export sector of organic products, especially bananas.
The Ministry of Foreign Trade (MINCETUR) has announced organic products exports will be reinforced through funding of €13 million that the European Union will pay.
This grant will be used to support production (bananas, coffee, cocoa) and export organic products to Europe particularly in the regions of Puno, Cusco, Arequipa, Madre de Dios and Piura.
