Fresh blueberries from Poland set to enter Taiwanese market

The Ministry of Agriculture has issued quarantine regulations and opened a 60-day public comment period.
On July 1, 2025, Taiwan's Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung confirmed that Taiwan is preparing to open its market to fresh Polish blueberries. The policy has been approved and is currently undergoing final administrative procedures.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Agriculture has issued quarantine regulations and launched a 60-day public consultation process. If completed without objections, market access could begin in September 2025.
The announcement was made during a lunch banquet in Taipei with members of the Polish-Taiwanese Parliamentary Group.
