Russia and Germany top the list for Turkish exports of fruits and vegetables

From January to August 2019, Turkey exported 2 million tons of fresh fruits and vegetables to 114 countries. In terms of value, the countries importing the most Turkish products are Russia and Germany.

 

 

 

According to data from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKIB), Turkey exported about 2 million tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables to 114 countries in the first 8 months of the year, generating a turnover of 1.2 billion USD.

 

 

 

During this period, with 455 190 tonnes in volume and 375.4 million USD in value, Russia was the No. 1 destination for Turkish fruits and vegetables. Germany ranks with 159.8 million USD, Iraq with 98.4 million USD, Romania with 81.5 million USD and Ukraine with 59.1 million USD.
