Market access, certification and traceability remain among the sector’s priorities for further expansion.
Brazil exported $707.9 million worth of fruit in the first six months of 2026, according to the Brazilian Association of Fruit and Derivative Producers and Exporters (Abrafrutas).
The association said the result keeps the sector on track for a possible fourth consecutive annual export record.
Abrafrutas sees further room for growth through access to new destinations, higher-value products, certification and traceability.
It also highlighted year-round supply, production scale, technology and the country’s varied growing conditions as factors supporting Brazil’s competitiveness in international markets.
