Sharp increase in lemon peel exports

In the first 3 months of the current year, exports of lemon peel by Peru totaled 7.019.994 kilos worth $6.883.186, according to the Agrodata Peru portal. These figures reflect a significant increase in both volume and value compared to 4.668.425 kilos dispatched in the same period of 2021, for a value of $4.208.510.

 

This year, Germany was the first country receiving this product with sales of $2.794.719 (40%), followed by Spain with $1.502.995 (22%), Mexico with $2.111.592 (31%), France with $186.316 (3 %), and other countries that together accumulated $284.604 (4%).
