The Hass avocado is already one of the best products of exports

In Colombia the turnover of exports of avocados registered an enormous rate of increase.
Last year exports of the Hass avocados surpassed many other Colombian sales products and are now positioned just behind bananas.
PROCOLOMBIA emphasizes that the Hass avocado variety have a bright future in the country. Production increases, world demand increases, exports increase.
Exports in 2015 reached 7.3 million USD but in 2016 they totaled 27.1 million USD, an increase of more than 269%.
These figures position the Hass avocado as the main agricultural product exported after bananas, the main fruit exported by Colombia.
