"Lunch box" vending machines
MD
"FeelGood", the next generation vending machine, offers a variety of healthier products.
Nearly 3,000 new "FeelGood" will be installed in stations, airports, subway, or at companies. They offer a wide range of products to become a "lunch box". To capture growing "nomadic" eating habbits, Navsa (trade association for National Sales and Automatic Service) has developed a label "FeelGood" recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture. This label distinguishes automatic nutritionally:
- Fruits and vegetables (ready fruit or vegetables, fruit juices, sauces, smoothies, soups),
- Soft drinks (sparkling water, plain and flavoured, light sodas, iced teas)
- Grain products (cereal bars, cookies)
- Dairy products (yogurt drinks, prepackaged cheese, flavored milk)
With this offer larger operators aim to stimulate declining sales. Sales amount to €2 billion in this market. Excluding drinks, 1 million euros of food is consumed every day in vending.
