Dessert apples sales skid down in Ukraine

Based on the recent information, demand for desert apples has dramatically dropped down in April 2015 in Ukraine. Against constant raise of sales rates within winter period, apples selling activities have recently slowed down. This kind of trade freeze both from retail chains and dealers side could be traced to significant growth of apples costs within local market of Ukraine. According to the latest data, apples prices have rallied up by 3 times comparing to the previous year numbers. At the current moment apples are available at 0,5 -0,7 EUROkg.
