Increase in exports for the North-West region

According to the Union of Exporters of fruits and vegetables of Uludag, exports of fruits and vegetables produced in the first quarter of 2013 increased by 11%, compared to 2012, reaching a total of $ 18,471,000.
With an increase of 45%, it's exports of black olives holding a record and being placed in the 1st place among the products exported, followed by leeks and potatoes. Peppers, green olives, onions and quince come after.
The 1st destinatione of local products is Germany (46% of exports), followed by the Netherlands and Azerbaijan. These three countries have increased their exports respectively by 22%, 40% and 14%. Switzerland, United Kingdom, Libya and Syria are positioned immediately behind these three countries.
