Today's Asia Fruit Business Forum 2019 was held in which Sinclair demonstrated the challenges it faced in developing Sinclair EcoLabel® as a certified compostable packaging solution.

 

 

 

Wil Murray, Senior Director of Operations at Sinclair, led the "Going Green: sustainable packaging solutions for fresh produce" seminar. By describing the journey and challenges that had to be met to achieve a first in the fresh produce packaging industry.

 

 

 

Sinclair EcoLabel® is a unique food labeling solution designed for use with high speed automated labeling technology. This is the first label for fresh products with its complete environment - including adhesive and inks - independently verified by TÜV AUSTRIA as fully compostable according to the OK compost and Seedling certifications.

 

 

 

The development of the compostable label began in 2008 but the Sinclair team made no compromises.
