It's Time For Limon Harvest

On 7 September 2014, the Citrus Commission charged of determining  whether lemon fruit is ripe enough to collect and export visited  Mersin, Tarsus and Adana citrus orchards, the zone where the early lemons varieties are grown. Therefore, they decided  that lemons of  Mayer and Enterdonat varieties are ripe for harvest being the date of harvest  12 September 2014 and the date of  export  18 September 2014

The harvest date is just a little early than last year (15 September for collecting and 20 September for export) and  the expectation of crop seems to be higher than last year, but less than a “normal” season.
