Cape gooseberry and pitahaya from Peru are scheduled to enter the US market. This was reported by Jennifer Contreras, head of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midagri), during the presentation of the 2024 Public Budget in the Congress of the Republic.
In turn, Peruvian bananas will enter the Chinese market, mandarins will find their way to Vietnam and New Zealand, and turmeric will enter the United States, Granda, Mexico and China.
On the other hand, the export of avocado and grapes will expand to international destinations such as Mexico, Malaysia, Brazil, Chile and Ecuador, these same markets being chosen for the shipment of pepper.
