The province of Quebec is the third largest producer after the U.S. states of Wisconsin and Massachusetts. In 2012 the province of Quebec has produced 84,303,640 kg of cranberries, according to the figures from the Association of producers.

This mass production due to several factors: improvement of cultivation methods and the best yield per acre, and a cool conducive climate to these fruits.
