A picture, relayed on social networks, shows "Brexit" regarding food products availability in the UK.
A surfer photographed what she had at home : on one side of the table, the product grown and processed in the United Kingdom (right in the photo.), Of the other products imported from other countries (l. in the photo).
According to analysts, for the British agriculture Brexit is seen as a good thing. Some farmers cite the numerous constraints of membership in the EU, such as the threat to ban Glyphosate (the most widely used herbicide in the country), or the ban on GM crops. Despite the subsidies received British farmers voted overwhelmingly for Brexit.
Yet the decline in the British currency and possible disruption of supply chains in the future could result in higher prices for all consumers.
