Indonesia is a promising new market for grapes from Peru.
New business opportunities for the Peruvian agricultural sector that sees a market of 253 million potential buyers open to its products.
Efforts to boost exports of MINCETUR, the Ministry of Foreign Trade, and OCEX trade office, resulted in Indonesia's decision to open its market. The Indonesian Agricultural Quarantine Bureau has authorized the entry of Peru's table grapes and mandarins.
Indonesia is an important market that imports a lot of food. After grapes and tangerines, other Peruvian products such as avocados, blueberries, onions and asparagus could also enter the Indonesian market.
