Italian packaging manufacturer proves how plastic can be beneficial for the environment and humanity

This project came from Plastic Bank Corp.. This plastic is recovered from the environment and beaches of Haiti, Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil, before it enters the oceans and seas. The social aspect of the operation is essential: by choosing these products, you contribute to bettering the living conditions of the collectors, so they could pay their children's health insurance, to send them to school and provide them with an education and a better future. 

Through this, the plastic that pollutes the ecosystem becomes a resource that generates income for developing countries.

These products are compatible with food contact. All the collected material is transformed into rPet flakes, according to a standardized process common to all raw materials. When the product arrives at Carton Pack, it is treated as rPet and therefore it can be utilized with a virgin PET lamination or can be purified with their purification system and used at 100 percent, guaranteeing its food contact.
