Slight increase in value of Peruvian asparagus exports up to November

Between January and November of this year, Peruvian exports of fresh asparagus amounted to $337,606,824, showing an increase of +2.99% compared to the $327,803,445 reached in the same period of 2022.

 

According to Agrodata Peru, during the first eleven months of 2023, 88,143,432 kilos of the fresh vegetable were shipped, indicating a decrease of -23.72% compared to the 115,552,479 kilos shipped in the same period of the previous year.

 

The United States was the main destination, with purchases valued at $ 223,251,000, followed by the United Kingdom with $ 39,729,000, Spain with $ 33,869,000, the Netherlands with $ 19,848,000 and Belgium with $ 4,621,000, among others.
