In 2023, Peru consolidated its position as the second largest exporter of fresh fruit to the United States, generating revenues of $2,277 million, which represented 12% of the total imported by that country, according to data from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) (photo: fruitsinperu.com).

In addition, Peru stood out as the main supplier of table grapes and blueberries to the United States, with exports valued at $992 million and $867 million respectively. These figures position Peru ahead of countries such as Mexico, Chile and Brazil in the supply of these products.
The good performance of fruits such as mangoes, citrus fruits and avocados was also highlighted.
