Italian grape supplier aims to expand its presence in the French market
In a recent interview with Fructidor, Domenico Liturri, Sales Director at Agricoper di Gianni Liturri, shared insights about the company's last grape season’s performance and future plans.
“We started the grape season not in a righ way, we did early varieties and they were not of excellent quality. However, we witnessed a remarkable turnaround by the end of August, with all subsequent grape varieties showing exceptional quality, making it one of the most successful crops seen by the company. The demand remained strong throughout the season, contributing to stable prices and overall satisfaction”, comments Domenico.
Looking ahead, Agricoper di Gianni Liturri aims to expand its presence in the French market while maintaining consistency in its already established destinations, including Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, and the UK. Domenico emphasized the company's commitment to catering to the diverse needs of wholesalers and retailers, recognizing that each channel requires a different product. While wholesalers seek premium products, retailers require a variety of options, including both premium and average-grade grapes.
Agricoper di Gianni Liturri is proud to introduce new seedless grape varieties known for their excellent quality and appearance, meeting the evolving preferences of consumers and ensuring satisfaction across various markets.
With the third generation currently managing the company and the fourth generation poised to join, Agricoper di Gianni Liturri continues its legacy of excellence and innovation in grape production, promising a bright future ahead.
