The company has a strong main shareholder with the Spanish group Hispagroup.
Concerning the Polish market, Adam explains:
"Poland is not going too bad at this moment. You cannot feel the crisis there. The only thing: prices are a little bit down, while sales volumes stay at the same level."
"Poland is not really affected by the crisis. The problem comes from outside markets, and mainly from Russia. As Russia is the first customer of Poland, the payment crisis in Russia is affecting most exporters. Hopefully, not Vegdis ! "
"Concerning the new campaign: both apple and pear crops seem to be on the good tracks."
According to Vegdis director, Organic is not yet popular in Poland. However the market has seen a big increase in berries sales. Not only strawberries, but also fresh blueberries. The country had a strong reputation for industry blueberries, and now retail sales of fresh blueberries are expanding."
