Mexico continues nationwide monitoring of fruit and vegetable prices and supply
VU
The system collects regular data from major wholesale markets.
Mexico publishes daily price and supply information for fruits and vegetables through the National Market Information and Integration System (SNIIM), operated by the Ministry of Economy of Mexico.
The platform gathers data directly from major wholesale markets (centrales de abasto) across the country and reports wholesale prices, product availability and origin of shipments.
Information is updated frequently and covers a wide range of fresh produce items traded in domestic markets. The data allow producers, traders and distributors to monitor price movements and supply conditions in real time.
For the fresh fruit and vegetable sector, the SNIIM wholesale market price platform remains a key reference tool for tracking market conditions and planning sales, logistics and distribution across Mexico.
