Exports increase

In 2011 agricultural and food product exports were up 39.8%.
Political changes over the past year have been quite favorable for Tunisian exports.
Figures released by the National Institute of Statistics show that Tunisian exports grew by 7.3% in value, reaching 22.8 MTD at end of November 2011. Agricultural and food products recorded the highest rate of increase at 39.8%.
Overall imports were up 5.8% compared to 2010 with agricultural products up by 28.7%.
