New state-of-the-art Spar logistics center in Croatia

Spar Austria and Spar ICS service provider of the group have reached another milestone with the successful opening of the new logistics center in Klinča Sela, Croatia. It is the largest DC within the entire SPAR Austria Group, with an investment of over €110 million. It also marks the next step in the digitalization and optimization of our logistics processes.

Fully integrated platform

By connecting WAMAS and COSware on a single platform, Spar ICS ensures smooth processes from inventory management to delivery, guaranteeing that markets are reliably and quickly supplied at all times. The loading processes are also optimized with "TMS-on-Truck". It enables intelligent, time-saving loading, significantly improving the speed and quality of deliveries from the warehouse to store shelves. The highest safety standards are also ensured.

Sustainable energy savings

The center uses software-controlled daylight sensor system. It helps reduce energy consumption by up to 82%, actively contributing to the sustainability goals and the lowering of the costs. The new logistics center also required a strong team engagement with professionalism and innovation to make Klinča Sela one of the most modern logistics hubs in Europe.
