Late frosts damaged strawberries harvest in Poland

According to the latest data, last week frosts have affected strawberries plantations in Poland. Due to local berries producers, weather has damaged mostly early breeds of strawberries. Great crop losses have been reported to be registered in several farms. In spite of unfavorable weather conditions, local producers have already started selling season of early strawberries, one month earlier than last year. Previous season results were also with 10% losses because of low temperatures, but anyway polish producers managed to crop 170 000 tons of strawberries.
