No. 1 in the region, the Lulu hypermarket chain continues its expansion by opening its 88th store and is expected to reach 100 stores by the end of 2011.
The No. 1 retailer in the region, LuLu Hypermarket chain, has further increased its presence by opening its 88th store.
This Lulu Hypermarket is located in Baniyas, just outside the city of Abu Dhabi. It covers 16,800 m2. The chain has invested heavily in storage areas and refrigeration.
The hypermarket in Baniyas has many features to reduce its carbon footprint. Its refrigeration systems, cooling, its LEDs and ecological bags makes of Lulu Hypermarket the most environmentally friendly.
The chain will continue its expansion plans and aims to achieve the figure of 100 stores by the end of the year.
