After a few disappointing months, China's trade results seem to be returning to growth for the month of July.
Chinese exports in July were up 3.3% from the previous year, according to customs data. This result is rather satisfactory, as analysts expected a decline of 2.0% after the 1.3% drop recorded for June.
For their part, imports register -5.6%, which underlines the sluggishness of domestic demand. However, the decrease was lower than the forecasts of -8.3% and -7.3% recorded in June.
