The year 2013 started well, Spanish exports continue to rise after the positive developments in 2012 (+13% in volume and 6% in volume)
Increase in exports of 11. 6% in January, as announced by FEPEX.
To be precise, up 11.6% in value and 5.2% in volume for the export of fruit and vegetables. Exports amounted to 1.2 million tons and 1,098 million euros.
For vegetables, increase by 11.4% in volume (586,707 metric tons) and 18% in value (585 million euros). On top: tomato 144,581 tons (+16%), salad 96,886 tons (+15%) and cucumber 86,544 tons (-2.6%). For fruit, up 0.2% in volume (666,908 metric tons) and 5% in value (513.4 million euros). Citrus fruits, persimmons and avocados.
