Agritechnica reaches new record high

With 24 halls, more than 388,000 m² of exhibition space and over 2,700 exhibitors, AGRITECHNICA is the largest exhibition of agricultural equipment in the world.

The largest fair in the world for agricultural machinery and equipment hit new records in its last edition.

Agritechnica 2011 counted 2,700 exhibitors and received 415,000 visitors, an increase of nearly 18% compared to 2009. More than 100,000 visitors came from abroad, up 25% over 2009, particularly from the Netherlands (over 10,000 visitors), Switzerland (9,000), Austria (8,400), Ireland (6,100), Denmark (6,000), France (5,400), the UK (5,200), Finland (3,300) and Italy (3,200).

The international character of the show is affirmed with increased presence of visitors from other continents. Around 6,500 visitors came from North America and South America, along with 2,000 visitors from India, China and Pakistan.

The next Agritechnica will be held at the Hanover Exhibition, 12-16 November 2013 (Preview Days: 10-11 November).
