The Sicilian avocado, the new product in the Orsero range

F.lli Orsero, the Extra Premium fruit and vegetable brand, is offering in its Selezione Orsero range, the avocado grown on the slopes of Mount Etna, along the Ionian coast of Sicily.

 

The production, certified Global Gap, benefits from the microclimate of the region and the volcanic soil of origin which, combined with the care and constant monitoring of the production process, give these Hass avocados excellent organoleptic characteristics. 

 

The Sicilian avocados in this Selezione Orsero range are offered either in bulk, in 4 kg trays or individually packed in the new Ecopack. The Ecopack consists of a paper tray on which vegetable inks have been used, a flowpack and a cellulose sticker that are fully compostable.

 

"Our project dedicated to the development and valorisation of Italian exotic fruits continues. The production area currently covers 12 hectares, and with the expansion project in the coming years the total will reach 50 hectares", said Alessandro Canalella, commercial director of Gruppo Orsero.
