"Frutas de Chile" launches its cherry campaign in a supermarket chain in Qingdao

As the Chinese New Year approaches, which will be celebrated on February 10, and with the increase in volumes of Chilean cherries arriving in China, Frutas de Chile, together with its Cherry Committee, intensify its promotional efforts to encourage the consumption of this fruit.

 

An intense agenda of activities and meetings is taking place in China. One of them was in the city of Qingdao, in northern China, where Frutas de Chile launched its cherry campaign in the JiaJiaYue supermarket chain. This is the first time that Chilean cherries have reached this market, according to Iván Marambio, president of Frutas de Chile.

 

The reception of cherries is very positive in Qingdao and in China in general, comments Claudia Soler, executive director of the Chilean Fruit Cherry Committee.
