Diversify avocado exports

Mexico is studying the possibility of exporting Hass avocados to the Philippines, according to the Mexican ambassador to the country.

 

 

 

At a ceremony in Davao, Mexican Ambassador Gerardo Lozano said expanding fruit exports would be an opportunity to strengthen trade collaboration between the two countries.

 

 

 

The ambassador pointed out that the current trade level between Mexico and the Philippines is below potential and has invited Filipino entrepreneurs to visit Mexico. Trade could be amplified with regard to food products and especially fruits. Producing avacodos all year round, Mexico is able to meet the demands.
