Turkish tomato exports up 42.71%

Local media report that, according to data compiled by AA (Anadolu Agency), in 2023 Turkey exported 588,418 tonnes of tomatoes worth 538.7 million USD (16 billion TRY). 

 

This represents an increase of +42.71% on the 377.19 million USD achieved in 2022.

 

Turkish tomatoes were exported to 52 countries, including Romania (91.98 million USD), Ukraine (64.6 million USD), Poland (56.65 million USD), Germany (53.98 million USD), the Netherlands, the UK, Spain, Denmark, Azerbaijan, Russia and Qatar.
