In 2021, exports of fresh Peruvian garlic totaled 13.272.771 kilos worth $21.017.058.
It is a slight growth in volume but a decrease in value compared to the 11.937.890 kilos exported in 2020 for $25.526.803, according to the Agrodata portal.
In 2021, Mexico was the main destination for these shipments, constituting 58% of total, with placements for $12,108,836. Other destinations: United States ($3.889.063), Ecuador ($2.979.256), Australia ($881.721), Puerto Rico ($269.810), Colombia ($219.974) and other countries that together accumulated $668.399.
