Drought affects orange harvest in Andalusia

The new agricultural season in Andalusia is marked by the scarcity of rainfall. This has led to a significant decrease in production, especially in the provinces of Seville and Cordoba. 

 

Current estimates suggest that total orange production in Andalusia will slightly exceed 1,800,000 tons, according to local media. 

 

However, a recurring concern among growers is the persistent problem of crop theft, as underlined by José Carlos Segura, secretary of Organization of UPA-Sevilla.
