Consumers prefer European organic products

Consumers have confidence in EU organic products.
Euromonitor International survey reveals that consumers in the United Arab Emirates have doubts about the reliability of organic certification process in some countries. They prefer to buy products that are not from Asia or the Middle East and give preference to products from Western Europe or North America.
Organic products will continue to have sustained demand in the region. Strong economic growth will boost purchasing power and increasingly numerous public will prefer food of high quality.
Only for organic packaged food, which recorded a volume of 16.3 million USD in 2013, the outlook forecast growth of +30% for 2018.
