On the occasion of Fruit Logistica 2023 UNITEC, international leader in the internal and external quality classification of more than 50 types of vegetable products, explained its commitment to the process aimed at also applying its know-how to the upstream and downstream of fruit and vegetable processing lines
UNITEC has created the harvest trolley, integrating a 1st selection of fruits in the field between products intended for fresh and products intended for industry; estimated 5-6% cost and warehouse space savings. Downstream, UNITEC is in the process of integrating its vegetable processing lines with robotic lines from the UNI Robotics division (Hall 4.1, Stand B-10) for packaging and automated palletizing, which reduces costs, improves efficiency and increases profitability.
At Fruit Logistica, the company is showcasing some of its latest cutting-edge achievements, such as UNI FLOW GENTLE PACKER, a patented solution capable of maximizing the efficiency of automatic apple packaging.
The UNITEC stand (Hall 4.1 Stand A-10) hosts 2 solutions for the quality classification of cherries and blueberries, equipped with Cherry Vision 3.0 and UNIQ Cherry, Blueberry Vision 3 and UNIQ Blueberry systems, capable of scanning each cherry or blueberry at 360°, for an external and internal quality classification.
The other systems entirely developed by UNITEC's R&D department and dedicated to specific fruits, from the VISION range (Kiwi Vision 3, Peach Vision 3, Plum Vision 3, Apples Sort 3, Pears Sort 3, Avocados Sort 3, etc. ) and the UNIQ range (UNIQ Kiwi, UNIQ Peach, UNIQ Plum, UNIQ Apples, UNIQ Avocados, UNIQ Melon, etc.).
The latest UNITEC, Onions Sort 3 and UNIQ Onions products for external and internal quality grading of all onion varieties. UNITEC has also developed solutions for the classification of dried fruits with the Walnut Vision and Hazelnut Vision systems as well as UNI INTELLIGENT PACK DATES, the robotic solution capable of arranging dates in trays so that they are oriented in the same direction.
