New citrus season

The new kinnows season which exports starts in December has just begun in Pakistan.

FPCCI, the Federation of Chambers of Commerce through the voice of its Horticulture / Agriculture Committee underlined the importance of these fruits the citrus exports. To continue its expansion, the sector must apply to improvements (biosecurity, national standards) and development promotion programs.

For next season the professionals are quite confident, the quality is better. The 1st estimates indicate 300 000 tons of citrus fruits for export.
