Increase in volume (+128%) and in value (+102%) for the export of strawberries of Peru over the period January to May 2013.
Increase in volume and in value for the exports of strawberries of Peru.
According to Agrodataperú data, the volume of exports of strawberries, from January to May 2013 was 3,365,000 pounds. Which represents an increase of 128% compared to the same months of last year (1,475,361 pounds).
In value terms, the exports of strawberries amounted to U.S. $ 5,097,603, representing an increase of 102% compared to the same period of 2012 (2,523,780 US).
The principal customers, in purchase volume, are: Germany, Belgium, Canada, Puerto Rico, the United States and China.
